Pompoir (or “gripology”, as the TikToksphere calls it) is the art of mastering the pelvic floor muscles that surround the vagina to perform dozens of unique exercises, such as squeezing, pulsing, shimmying, locking, and even twisting.
When learning pompoir it’s recommended to identify the different regions of the muscles surrounding the vagina, to manipulate each of them separately, thus creating different sensations.
For example, it feels quite different to squeeze the sides at the entrance of the vagina than to pulse back and forth between the anterior and posterior halves at the top of the vagina and near the cervix.

The exercise involves lifting the pelvic floor muscles through their entire range of motion (ROM) while simultaneously connecting with your breathing and choreographing this movement alongside your partners’ thrusts inside of you.

The key is to develop the vaginal muscles at different vertical levels. These levels are called the ‘transverse plane’ of the vagina, and it is the very first step in mastering pompoir.
To do this, we’re going to divide Crescendo 2’s motors into 3 levels and practice the milking motion with vibrations isolated to each level. While there are 6 motors total in Crescendo 2, the 6th one is designed for clitoral stimulation and won’t be used inside of your vagina, so you’re only going to use 5 of the motors at different times for this exercise.
- Open your MysteryVibe App, and create a vibration that only vibrates at the very tip of the vibrator (the part that will be the deepest inside your vagina). Go to the app, tap on Vibes > Create and create a vibe where only the highest/deepest motor vibrates.
- Then, put Crescendo 2 inside of you, and begin the milking motion, lifting your pelvic floor muscles during an exhale, and pulling slowly and all the way in. Your goal should be to pull all the way up with your muscles until you feel that vibration, at the tip of Crescendo 2, near your cervix.
- Then, inhale again and relax slowly, all the way down.
- Repeat steps 2 and 3 slowly, five times.
Next, you’re going to do exactly the same, only this time, you’re going to create a vibe where the vibration is felt at the next level down on Crescendo 2.
- Go to the app, tap on Vibes > Create, and create a vibe where only the second and third motors of Crescendo 2 vibrate.
- Then, repeat steps 2 and 3, five times.
The goal is to perform the full milking motion, and this time, you should feel your pelvic floor lift above the region where the vibration is happening.
When you’re inhaling and relaxing your muscles, pay special attention to the middle region of your vagina, where you’re feeling the vibrations.
Finally, do exactly the same, only this time, create a vibe where the vibration is felt at the last level in Crescendo 2.
- Go to the app, tap on Vibes > Create, and create a vibe where only the fourth and fifth motors vibrate.
- Then, repeat steps 2 and 3, five times.
This time, your lift will go much further up than the vibrations, which should be felt at the entrance of your vagina.
Again, pay special attention as to how it feels to lift during those lower levels, where the vibrations are being felt.
After you finish your repetitions on that last level, take Crescendo 2 out and that completes your training session!
The takeaway from the vaginal handjob exercise
The goal of this training session is to use Crescendo 2 to help you identify the different vertical levels of your vaginal canal.
Each of these levels should feel completely unique.
For example, the initial pull at the entrance (where the lower two vibrations happen) will probably feel quite strong.
As you keep going, the pull in the middle (where the second and third vibrations happen) might feel a bit gentler.
And, as you pull all the way inside of you, you’ll feel a strong resistance as well as you hit your cervix (where the first, highest vibration happens).
Conversely, when you relax your muscles, you’ll probably feel like you can control that smooth “downward” motion better at the heart of the vaginal canal (in the middle, where the second and third vibrations happen) than you can at the top or at the entrance.
Understanding the “uniqueness” of each of these sections of your vagina is crucial in pompoir, as the more complex exercises will have you perform different movements isolated to different sections.
The exercise of using Crescendo 2’s vibrations to identify and feel each of the vaginal regions will also help you develop greater awareness and sensitivity across your vaginal canal.
This means that during sex, you’ll start experiencing a more acute friction throughout the entirety of your vagina, and it’s likely that your partner will too, even when you’re in a relaxed state (not actively performing any exercise).
A common sentiment from those practicing pompoir is that their partners feel it’s “tighter all the way”, whereas before, it was naturally tighter at the heart of the canal, and a bit less so at the entrance of the vagina and the top near the cervix.
Working on your muscles through these different regions allows you to better stimulate blood flow to those different regions, which in turn helps you get more aroused and enhances your orgasms.
